*This course is reserved for students attending MES. Ages: K-5 Dates: March 7, 14, 21, and 28th (Thursdays) Time: After School until 3:30 pm Location: Music Room Club Description: Kids love the thrill of playing percussion instruments, and this club is designed to help them unwind and recharge after a long day of learning. Over the course of 4 crazy fun sessions, students will strengthen music literacy and applied rhythmic skills, are they perform layered drumming pieces using a variety of percussion instruments (ex. Tubano, Conga, Djembe Drums). We will explore the concepts of meter, texture, timbre, and form, while also applying shading techniques, such as "high and low" tones and rim shots. The music chosen for this class will be invigorating, catchy, and high energy! Refund Policy: All sales are final, and no refunds can be given for missed sessions or cancelled bookings, regardless of reason. If Bumble Beats By Lisa must cancel a session for any reason, the customer will be promptly refunded 1/4 of the total amount paid for the course, for each cancelled session.
