*Reserved for K-5 students attending Marvin Elementary School, Marvin NC This offering includes 4 sessions! Dates: Mondays- September 28, October 5, 12, and 19 Time: After school until 3:00 pm Location: Music Room at Marvin Elementary Audience: Perfect for K-5, boys and girls *Note: In the rare event that a make-up date is needed, October 26 will be our scheduled make-up date. Club Description: This after school club is high energy, hands-on, and happy! The only TREBLE we'll be making is a lot of exciting melodies and rhythms. Students in K-5 will have a blast on the Soprano, Alto, and Bass xylophones; we'll use them to play new songs, games, and engage in challenges to strengthen overall musicality and confidence. Along the way, learn mallet techniques, create your own melodies, and explore music through improvisation. Simply pack a snack each week; all other materials are included! Space is limited in order to give each child an abundance of attention and time on the instruments.
