*Reserved for K-5 boys and girls attending MES. This club pack includes 4 weekly sessions. Date: Thursdays in January-January 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th Time: After school until 3:15 pm Location: Music Room Club Description: Something silly is going on here! This very fun, hands-on music club combines everything your child loves about football with a structured and process-oriented music learning experience. Participating in team-oriented, football-themed games and activities that were designed by Lisa, kids will strengthen their music skills in various areas including: music literacy, rhythm, melody, improvisation, and composition. Designed to be of interest to both boys and girls, this club also emphasizes sportsmanship and friendly competition. Here is a sneak peak at just a couple games Lisa has been creating especially for this club: -Concession Stand Note-Matching Relay: (race to the concession stand with the correct music note to see which team returns with the most snacks) -FUMBLED: (Who can collect the most football-themed rhythm cards by the end of the big game? Pull a card; clap/say the rhythm on the card. Pull out a "FUMBLED" card? Put all your cards back but keep playing to collect more cards.) - -
